Paul Scoptur has again been selected as a Wisconsin SuperLawyer and one of the Best Lawyers In America for 2007. This is recognition by his peers that he is one of the top lawyers in Wisconsin and the United States, as selection is based on nomination and voting by lawyers in Wisconsin and America.

Paul has also been busy helping his clients. He recently tried a medical malpractice case in Wausau and obtained a $602,000 verdict in a case where the insurance company made no attempt to settle the case. There was no appeal.

In a case involving a fall from a ladder, Paul obtained a $1,350,000 settlement several weeks before trial for a Pennsylvania man who was hurt on a job site.

Paul has also settled several cases involving nursing home neglect for confidential amounts. He previously settled a nursing home neglect case for $525,000 and a group home sexual abuse case for $800,000.
